- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Haven't been to the Dogs for some time . Decided to go for New Years eve. Totally Disappointed. Looks like a cow shed ,seated people had to squeeze in to let others pass. To make a bet you had to infringe on other patrons area to get there ,meal area was behind make shift plastic wall and 'food hall' presentation. Food was good, Staff were very helpful but under staffed.Bar line was Four deep at times with only 3 serving at first. Can not see dogs or races from inside unless you stand up, only on screens. Points mentioned are only a few .So much more could be added. All the charm has gone .By George Hawkins, February 19, 2017
